This role involves coordinating with the Crimson Client Team, high-tech clients, and professional-level consultants to facilitate introductory meetings for potential and existing business opportunities for the Crimson Client Team.
Crimson Consulting Group has a close knit staff of 23 employees. We enjoy working together in a fun and busy work environment. Our staff is small but top-notch in their field. This position will serve as a key role in the success of our firm.
MUST HAVE:
- 2 - 5 years work experience, preferably in an inside sales or customer service role
- Proven success in managing client interactions over the phone
- Professional, friendly and outgoing customer phone presence
- Strong work ethic and ability to be self motivated
- Able to thrive while working independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to interact with staff and clients (at all levels) in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Proven experience with prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously and timely follow through
- Strong knowledge of MS Outlook/Office
STRONGLY PREFER
- Knowledge of SalesForce.com
- Ability to learn new technologies, including social networking sites/wikis/etc
Job Status: Part-time to Full time (flexible hours between 8-5 Mon.-Fri.)
Location: Los Altos, CA or from a home office
The Business Development Coordinator/Scheduler responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Contact marketing executives and other potential clients via phone and email in response to an introductory email (introducing Crimson Consulting Group as a marketing strategy resource) as sent by the managing client team member
- Heavy client and internal interaction with executive and administrative staff
- High volume of business development calling and calendaring activities to schedule meetings
- Manage business development ‘calling best practices’ and ‘standard operating procedures’ as well as record results of calling campaigns. Inform administrative or client team of pertinent updates
- Assist in the coordination of marketing mailings for Crimson’s managing partners
