In these roles, Communications Program Manager Consultant’s will work closely with a team developing a program designed to appeal to go-to-market partners aligned with several different business units of our client. A variety of integrated marketing communications activities are planned including: lead generation programs, Web-based content, email campaigns, development of segment-specific value propositions and messages, etc.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Creating a master lead generation plan template that identifies co-marketing opportunities between the team responsible for the partner program and the independent product teams
- Working across the teams to identify and specify synergistic marketing communications content (such as: online marketing materials, online campaign materials or other on/off-line materials)
- Ensuring clear communication of partner program benefits to both internal product teams and to external partners via:
- An internal SharePoint site
- Program overviews, FAQs, Presentations and other materials
- Self-running webcasts/demos (to be created from existing materials)
- Facilitating internal participation in an integrated communications program through the development of an “on boarding kit” meant to:
- Communicate the requirements and benefits of program participation to the relevant product teams
- Present an easy-to-follow process for integrating marketing programs and materials
- Managing the process for internal program on boarding, participation and program integration by:
- Ensuring cross-functional clarity of commitments and relative roles and responsibilities
- Conducting ongoing stakeholder communications designed to inform on status and open issues
- Providing responses to inquiries and using those responses to continue iterating the informational materials
MUST HAVE:
- 5+ years experience in a communications program management and/or partner marketing role
- Experience in a marketing partner marketing role or significant consulting experience with providers of diversified technology solutions (such as; Cisco, IBM, Microsoft, Salesforce.com-Appxchange or similar)
- Proven examples of successful cross functional project management in a highly complex, matrixed organization
- General analytical and process skills
- Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communications
STRONGLY PREFER:
- Knowledge of the SMB markets and partner ecosystems across a variety of technology categories (productivity applications, infrastructure, etc.) and extensive knowledge of multi-channel recruitment programs
Job Status: Project Based
Location: On-site in Seattle, WA. Area (some possible off-site flexibility)
