As part of Crimson’s Interactive Services, Crimson Consulting Group seeks a Senior Interactive Brand Strategist with experience in market research, interactive brand strategies, business development, web analytics, team management and thought leadership to work with one of our clients.
Our client is an award winning San Francisco based interactive agency with several offices around the world. They are seeking a Senior Interactive Brand Strategist to join their growing Creative Services team. The ideal candidate should be equal parts Marketer, Business Analyst, User Experience Architect, Technologist, Researcher, and Brand Strategist. This strategic athlete can quickly analyze the client, market and industry data, develop, articulate and defend the vision for the digital media solution, and propose an approach, cost and process for delivery.
Working closely with the account services team, you will also be expected to grow new business through client relationships and thought leadership, and actively contribute to an environment of professional growth by inspiring teammates at all levels to exceed expectations.
Must Have:
- 5-7 years in a senior interactive brand strategist role at an interactive agency
- Strategy: proven track record in creating and delivering integrated strategic marketing solutions for customer acquisition, retention and conversion using customer targeting (segmentation), best practices, industry benchmarks, and key metrics
- Business Development/Marketing: lead the RFP /BD process including developing the pitch strategy, framing the proposals, writing business cases and ROIs
- Web Analytics: solid grasp of web analytics tools and reporting, including ability to communicate key findings to client and internal teams
- Market Research: Define, frame, execute and analyze user research strategies
- Management experience: manage participation, recruitment and performance evaluation, mentor junior talent on project and team level
- Demonstrated thought leadership: possess current knowledge of interactive technology, design trends and user experience best practices and be able to communicate the agency’s POV through public speaking, judging, teaching, blogging or other industry activities
Strongly Prefer:
- Familiarity with the high tech consumer companies: HP, IBM, Microsoft, Intel, Apple, Dell, or similar
- Experience with any one of the following interactive agencies: Avenue A, Organic, Sapient, Agency.com, MRM or similar
- Relevant degree in Business Administration, Technology, User Experience or Architecture
- Experience with emerging web technologies, web 2.0, social media (web videos, mobile)
Duration: Full time position, (potential to contract if preferred)
Location: Peninsula, (on-site)
