As part of Crimson Operations and Execution Services, Consultant needed to lead and implement new product management & marketing plan. Lead effort for product development from strategy through tactical including MRD creation, go-to-market planning, positioning, messaging, sales tools, collateral, and competitive analysis for new Mac oriented consumer software product. Consultant will assist in all areas of product marketing and management including, but not limited to: segmentation, identification of target buyers, product requirement definition, buyer needs and buying dynamics, market identification, solution marketing messaging, positioning, marketing communications and sales model/program development.
Responsibilities include but will not be limited to:
- Development of Product Strategy Plan
- Product launch planning, coordination of all launch activities, and guidance to cross-functional product launch teams
- Coordinate the development of high impact sales tools such as white papers, presentations, product demos
- Develop key sales and channel training materials covering industry trends, product value proposition, and competitive position
- Assist with the design, development and testing of product packaging and collateral
- Create business cases and strategies for new products, markets, countries
- Assist in driving overall go-to-market strategy, planning and execution for the consumer product line
MUST HAVE:
- 5+ years of experience in a product management role focused on managing consumer products for Mac environment
- Recent experience managing and marketing software product developed for Mac environment
- Experience developing MRDs and PRDs for security software
- Solid presentation development and delivery experience to internal and external audiences
- Demonstrated experience in performing competitive analysis, understanding and defining business strategy, and researching consumer needs
- Extensive experience driving tactical marketing activities in support of new product launch
STRONGLY PREFER:
- Experience managing and marketing software products
- Experience leveraging social media and integrated marketing campaigns to support product marketing activities
- Experience leading cross functional meetings that include Operations, Engineering, Product Development, Program Management, and Marketing Communications
- Ability to work independently on a fast-moving marketing team and proactively come up with solutions to problems
Location: South Bay , (on-site)
Duration: 4-6 months, (full-time)
