As part of Crimson’s Products and Markets Service, Consultant needed to create a Product Marketing function within a company currently selling software via enterprise licenses and switching to SaaS.
Responsibilities include but will not be limited to:
- Assist in driving overall go-to-market strategy, planning and execution for the new solution
- Complete market segmentation and value proposition development
- Product launch planning, coordination of all launch activities, and implementation of launch
- Develop high impact sales tools such as white papers, presentations, product demos, etc.
- Assess and measure the impact of campaigns and product offerings
MUST HAVE:
- 7+ years of experience in a product marketing role with most of that time focused on marketing SaaS solutions
- Strategy experience in market segmentation and value proposition development
- Significant experience with product launch strategy and tactics
- Experience using online analytics to understand user intent (in order to evaluate current and future product offerings)
- Experience developing market-facing content (writing)
STRONGLY PREFER:
- An understanding of the online information business
- Technical degree
- MBA
Location: South Bay, (on-site)
Duration: 4-6 months, (full-time), could evolve into a permanent position
