back to Consulting Opportunities #4331 TCO/Economic Value Modeling Analyst
Consultant needed to work with a Crimson project team involved in assessing the economic value of technology solutions deployed within large global enterprises. This project will involve performing financial modeling that estimates the TCO, ROI and/or other financial implications of proposed technology product or service investments. Consultant may be asked to support the assessment of the financial impact of a variety of technology solutions within multiple industries. Ideally, consultant will possess a degree of familiarity with the TCO methodologies used by major analyst firms (Gartner, IDC, Forrester, etc.) in order to ensure that the analysis published is deemed credible by the analyst community.
Responsibilities include but will not be limited to:
- Determining the cost and benefit drivers associated with technology deployments and/or BPR
- Structuring financial models in a clear and communicable way
- Evaluating the merits of alternative modeling approaches (ROI, TCO, NPV, ROA, or top-down vs. bottom-up, which dimensions to use, etc.)
MUST HAVE:
- 3+ years experience conducting financial modeling and analysis
- Experience assessing impact of technology investments and/or BPR
- Advanced proficiency with Excel (focused on financial modeling and forecasting)
- Familiarity with key financial metrics and methodologies used by IT industry analysts (Gartner, etc.) to evaluate technology decisions
STRONGLY PREFER:
- Prior experience with a consulting firm: Accenture, Booz, or similar OR technology industry analyst companies such as: Gartner, IDC, or similar
- Ability to write Excel Macros
- MBA/CPA
