As part of Crimson’s Interactive Services, Consultant needed to help optimize current Omniture implementation and drive value through providing analytics and insights that will help the team to optimize web experience for various user segments which will ultimately affect the user experience and revenue generated online. This position is a critical role that will bring the necessary tools and support, to help our storage solutions client build a “delightful” experience for prospects and customers alike.
Responsibilities include but will not be limited to:
- Translate business goals and objectives into measurement and tagging strategy
- Provide technical implementation best practices and support implementation of Web Analytics and Optimization tools (Omniture, Google Analytics, Google Web Optimizer) to support overall Web Analytics strategy
- Develop best practice approaches for analyzing user behavior on the web; as well as general tracking set-up, and data interpretation
- Assist in automation efforts that are needed for executive-level reporting (Excel, SQL, etc)
- Create, review and submit weekly, monthly metrics reports identifying web Behavior and Outcomes. Include metrics definitions, and suggestions for further analysis
MUST HAVE:
- 5+ years of web analytics experience
- Functional knowledge of tools: Omniture, Google Analytics, Google Web Optimizer. With hands on technical and business analysis experience
- 3+ years experience with large-scale Omniture implementation
- Proficient knowledge of website tagging and tracking methodologies and technologies, including flash and video
STRONGLY PREFER:
- Expert knowledge of Excel and strong database skills; SQL Server, Oracle
- Experience with data visualization tools preferred (Tableau)
- Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, SQL, XML, Flash as well as CMS such as Vignette
Location: South Bay (on-site presence required)
Duration: 6-12 months (likely to be extended)
