As part of Crimson’s Interactive Service, Social Media expert Consultant needed to assist with online engagement of Microsoft’s portfolio of products, solutions, and services via social media networks. Consultant will lead social media outreach, manage social network presence and communications, develop KPIs, and track results.
Responsibilities include but will not be limited to:
- Translate business goals and objectives into measurement and tagging strategy
- Conducting on-going communication/ conversation through micro-blogging, posting, tracking, and engaging in conversations with customers online using social media tools
- Review of client’s marketing materials and extracting marketing content to use in postings
- Seeding content across numerous targeted social media sites and key user sites (blogs and forums)
- Monitoring social media sites and responding to postings and business problems from decision-makers
MUST HAVE:
- 2-4 years experience with Microsoft demonstrating broad understanding of Microsoft Portfolio of products, solutions, and services
- 1-3 years experience in a social media marketing, moderator or web marketing communications role
- Outreach and / or marketing experience with social media networks and blogging, including, LinkedIN, Twitter, Facebook, Youtube,, and / or related content seeding
- Experience marketing to CIOs, technical leaders and related decision-makers
- Excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills
STRONGLY PREFER:
- Microsoft work experience across multiple groups including mix of Server & Tools Business (STB), Microsoft Business Division (MBD), and / or Windows Business Groups
- Understanding of Windows, Virtualization, Cloud Computing, and Microsoft Licensing
- Experience moderating forums
Location: Remote project
