James Lim – Web Strategist

James is an experienced web strategist and business consultant for successful multi-million dollar internet startups and Fortune 1000 companies with a strong background in ecommerce and community strategy.

Most recently at Zappos.com (backed by Sequoia Capital and reaching $600M revenue in only 7 years of operation), James was a strategy consultant and successfully planned and launched a new online ecommerce division that began as an idea and resulted in $30 Million in revenue in less than two years.

At Ask.com (acquired by Interactive Corporation for $1.8 Billion in 2005), he was involved in technology and business strategy implementing the company’s first contact management system and the development of the company’s first partnership division.

James was a senior technology and strategy consultant at Anderson Consulting involved with technology audits, business process reviews, and software needs assessments for fortune 1000 companies like Cisco and Toshiba (formerly Amdahl).
