We'll give you the opportunity to use your range of skills from strategy development to execution, from product/services development to sales support. You will own and drive all marketing for Crimson, with input from the CEO and Partners.

Must Have skills are:

  • 7 plus years of marketing experience across multiple marketing areas (see below for details)
  • Ability to develop and implement an online marketing strategy and provide a hands-on marketing focus
  • Ability and experience to lead the in-house marketing team as well as support the partners, clients and consultants.
  • A deep understanding of our core target market – large technology firms and the needs of their marketing executives

Strongly Prefer skills are:

  • Experience running marketing for a professional services firm
  • Experience working in marketing for a technology vendor
  • Expertise in Salesforce.com
  • MBA

Right Mix of responsibilities include:

Strategy development

  • Advancing our effort to segment our market
  • Determining the optimal mix between current, old and new account focus
  • Balancing our overall positioning to enhance clarity and remove confusion, while supporting competing business development efforts

Development of services offerings

  • Providing focus around particular service offerings that will create the highest ROI
  • Working closely with the Partners to optimally describe our key service offerings
  • Building out the content to best explain and promote those service offerings

Website management

  • Planning
  • Production
  • SEO
  • Look and feel
  • Content development and management
  • Analytics

Blog site management (including other social media)

  • Integrating the blog site with our website
  • Ranking management
  • Quality control
  • Content development and management
  • Determining our level of participation in social media

Online advertising

  • Campaign planning
  • Ad content development
  • Ad testing and analysis

Online (and offline) PR

  • Promoting speaking opportunities (including podcasts, webcasts, etc.)
  • Promoting our content to be picked up by other sites
  • Promoting our Partners as thought leaders
  • Creating “press” around our thought leadership

Direct marketing

  • Managing campaigns into accounts, in coordination with selling efforts into those accounts
  • Managing campaigns about service offerings
  • Creating the right mix of email and hard-copy direct marketing

Content development

  • Working with the Partners to take the content that exists at the conceptual level and make it market-facing
  • Repurposing content to be used in other promotional ways
  • Owning the quality of all content produced

Relationship marketing

  • Supporting the Partners in their need to nurture relationships
  • Ensuring that all important Crimson relationships stay alive
  • Managing our major account marketing

Consultant marketing

  • Ensuring we are meeting the needs of our consultant community
  • Owning the overall communications plan to our consultant community
  • Growing our consultant community
