Crimson Consulting Group is growing and we need Principals / Sr. Managers to manage projects, while reporting to the Partner-in-Charge for that project. Please see a more detailed description of the role below.

MUST HAVE:

• 5+ years total work experience
• 2+ years of consulting project management experience
• Experience managing consulting teams of two or more professionals
• A thorough understanding of all aspects of technology marketing
• Experience consulting to technology companies on strategic marketing issues

STRONGLY PREFER:

• Experience with one of the following firms: McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Booz Allen, Gartner, IDC, Accenture or similar, or a boutique consulting firm 
• 3+ years experience in a senior marketing role at a technology vendor
• MBA from a top school  
• Technical degree

The Principal / Sr. Manager's responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

Assist in Framing Engagements:

• With a Partner, gain a deep understanding of the clients' challenges, often at a deeper level than they understand them
• Document the skills requirement of the prospective consulting team, interview prospective team members, and choose and build your team
• Create proposal documents that discuss Crimson's approach to addressing the client's challenge

Manage the Engagement:

• With a Partner, manage the client sponsors and manage their expectations throughout the engagement
• Manage the engagement as a project via project management skills (scope, budget, timeline, deliverables, contingencies, etc.)
• Deliver on Crimson's commitment of creating “Extreme Client Satisfaction”

Information Capture:

• Follow an engagement completion process
• Support the building and management of various aspects of Crimson's infrastructure to ensure the firm's overall success
