Crimson Consulting Group is growing, and we are looking for Analysts to provide support for Principals and Partner in delivering and selling marketing consulting projects to leading high tech firms.
MUST HAVE:
- 2+ years total work experience in marketing
- 2+ years of research experience
- Experience delivering quality research results and insights to support teams
- Demonstrated success working in teams
- The ability to self manage
- A clear willingness to pitch in
STRONGLY PREFER:
- An understanding of the high tech market
- Experience in consulting or services industry
- Undergraduate degree from a leading university
Location: Los Altos, Ca.
Job Status: Full Time
The Business Analyst's responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
Research, Analysis and Insight Development
- Plan and execute portions of the research effort
- Select the appropriate research/ analysis plan given research and analysis options and trade-offs; maximize use of available networks (internal/external) to obtain information
- Structure analysis based on hypotheses
- Define details of research plan and prioritize research/analysis efforts to fit project timeline/deliverables
- Draw insights from complex analysis in short time frame – actively consider the implications, “the so what’s”
- Interpret data in context of industry and company-specific issues
Marketing and Strategy Expertise
- Identify how changes in marketing area may impact the overall business
- Identify key marketing capabilities required to support a company’s strategy
- Develop a specific point of high tech and marketing expertise/ knowledge
- Build knowledge of high tech and marketing issues
Strategy and Solution Development
- Integrate pieces of analysis, recognize patterns, and identify options to solve the identified problem
- Overall Project Support
- Assist Partners and Principals with the daily workings of project management – managing project schedules, workplans and status reports, assisting with project administration, and coordinating with team members
- Assisting Partners and Principals with business development efforts – conducting research in preparation for proposal development and creating business development materials
