Information Architect - Interactive Media

As part of Crimson's Interactive Media Practice, we are seeking an Information Architect that will work closely with our client, to translate business rules and practices into functional requirements for media-rich, web-based projects; merging various disciplines such as UI Design, Development, Usability, Strategy, Business Analysis, Systems Integration, and Information Science, consultant will be responsible for executing the information structure and user experience of the project.
Consultant will interface and interact with our clients business, development, and design teams to gauge requirements on various initiatives, which will translate into information architecture.
The interaction design schematics includes, but not limited to, the following:
- Site Maps
- UI Specifications / wire frames & functional specs
- Navigational schemes
- Process Flows
- Content Requirements
- Use Cases / User Scenarios
- Collaborate with Creative Services team members on site concepts and interfaces in line with functional requirements and style guide standards
- Assist with usability testing
- Assist in managing updates to current site pages
- Creation of basic site graphics (banners, icons, etc)
MUST HAVE:
- Proven experience in an Information Architecture role with extensive client interface
- 3+ years of Information Architecture experience
- 3 years experience working in an Internet consulting environment or in the e-business area of a large corporation
- Familiarity with Content Management systems
- Proficiency in Visio
STRONGLY PREFER:
- Familiarity with ATG
- HTML and JavaScript experience
- Experience with Rich Media and or Video/ broadband applications a big plus
