Globalization Tools and Initiatives Crimson partner Rich Julius designed and directed Cisco's globalization initiative for the Support section of www.cisco.com. INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE Designed the globalization principles and data structures to support navigation and browsing. TRANSLATION PUBLISHING Developed a translation publishing process and built several of the globalization systems to enable worldwide users to effieciently access the information they need. TRANSLATION QUALITY ASSURANCE PORTAL Design, build, maintain, and host the translation QA portal, used to manage the translation QA efforts worldwide. RESULTS This multi-million dollar program resulted in savings of hundreds of thousands of dollars in translation costs and earned Cisco its first LISA Award in 2007 and again in 2008 for online global web support excellence.
