Crimson Consulting Group Inc. is a leading interactive services firm focusing on web strategy, design, and development. Through our offices in Silicon Valley and Research Triangle we serve forward-thinking enterprise clients on major initiatives, including Adobe, Cisco, Hewlett-Packard, Microsoft, Seagate, and Verizon.

Crimson’s Interactive Services division seeks a user experience designer capable of handling high-profile projects. We need an experienced, customer-focused person with a portfolio of IA or user experience design deliverables, excellent attention to detail, and solid project management skills. We expect candidates to be experienced with:

• Web and Web 2.0 consulting in UI or Human Factors
• User Interface and User Experience Design
• Use Case Scenarios and Process Flows
• Audience Analysis and Personas
• Heuristics and Usability Testing
• Managing Graphic Designers and Agencies

Crimson is growing its IA practice, building an exceptional community of information architects, user experience designers, and Web developers. We're looking for someone who is smart and responsible, with an interest in working with premier clients and world-class teams. We seek a self-directed individual able to work remotely on their own computer, who can work effectively in a distributed, virtual environment, and who can manage their own responsibilities. Some occasional travel and on-site work may be required.

MUST HAVE:

• 3+ years in an Information Architecture or User Experience role
• 3+ years working in an Internet consulting environment or enterprise web environment
• Portfolio of interface designs for large business clients
• Strong knowledge of creative design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) to create workflows and visual mock ups that are delivered to web developers for production implementation
• Familiarity with current web design technologies (e.g. CSS/Flash/AJAX/Ruby) and the capabilities of modern web browsers and plug-ins

STRONGLY PREFER:

• Some hands-on graphic design experience
• Familiarity with portals, Web 2.0, and Content Management systems

**MUST have portfolio of current work examples to show**
