Crimson’s Interactive Services division seeks web developers with experience using web scripting languages like JavaScript, ColdFusion, PHP, Perl, JSTL, and VBScript. We seek experienced, customer-focused people with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently. Hand-coded HTML, JavaScript and at least one other application scripting language required.

This is not a software development or engineering position, but other web-related development skills such as database design and SQL scripting, user interface design, and traditional programming experience (Java, C#, J2EE) are a big plus.

We expect candidates to be experienced with:

• Web and Web 2.0 Development Issues
• User Interface Design
• Application Servers
• Database Servers and SQL
• Coding from and Collaborating on Design Specifications

Crimson is growing its web development practice, building an exceptional community of information architects, user experience designers, and Web developers. We're looking for someone who is smart and responsible, with an interest in working with premier clients and world-class teams. We seek a self-directed individual able to work remotely on their own computer, who can work effectively in a distributed, virtual environment, and who can manage their own responsibilities. Some occasional travel and on-site work may be required.

MUST HAVE:

• 3+ years in a web development role
• 3+ years working on a corporate or enterprise web site, portal, or web application
• Keen understanding of HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, and CSS

STRONGLY PREFER:

• .Net, ColdFusion, or PHP experience
• Experience with XML-driven Flash or Flash MX
• Familiarity with portals, Web 2.0, and Content Management systems
